Dignities and triplicity lords

Reading the Dignities card

The Dignities card sets out every planet's essential dignities in one table, so you can read what each planet holds where it stands. The Essential dignities table has one row per planet, and the Triplicity column holds all three triplicity lords. Score appears when Dignity scores is on in Settings.

Holds lists what the planet holds in its own position, the dignities first and then Detriment, Fall or Peregrine. Faded lords are in aversion to the planet they rule.

Click a row to open that planet's triplicity lords. The row of planet glyphs across the top switches planets, and the back arrow returns to the table. The page reads like the Triplicity lords card.

The rules the card follows are account settings, shared with the wheel and with search. The gear turns the card to a face that shows which are in use, and clicking a rule opens it under bounds, dignities and decans in Settings. The Triplicity lords card's gear works the same way.

The Triplicity lords card reads the three lords of the sect light for this chart, with a second tab for when one lord hands over to the next. Sect light, the default tab, heads with the sect light, its sign and house, for example Sect light: Sun in Leo, 10th, and under it Day chart or Night chart.

The trigon wheel is turned to this chart, with the rising sign on the left. Beside it is a card for each of the three lords, with its role, its verdict, its sign, house and angularity, and its marks. Point at a lord's card and its sign lights on the trigon wheel.

The card needs a birth time.

Triplicity lords changeover

Changeover is the Triplicity lords card's second tab, and it dates the handover from each lord to the next across the life. It heads with the first lord handing over to the second, and the ages, for example At age 38.42 (Leo rises) or 45 (Saturn's years).

The rails share one age scale. The first rails show the handover by sign and by years. Under them, each lord has two rails, its own minor years and the rising time of the sign it is in.

Point at any band for its ages and dates. Click a band on a lord's rail to move the timeline to the start of that window.

Each window is as wide as the Busy year setting on the Ascensional times card.
