Importing charts from Luna
As of this writing Luna does not have the option for their users to export their chart database. The way to receive your database in a file format is to write to their support address and ask them to send you your chart database as a spreadsheet. Say that you want every chart you have saved, as a CSV file.
The CSV file should contain one row per chart, carrying the name, the kind of chart, the birth date and time together in one column, the place, and its latitude and longitude. Arcus reads all of that, so import it as a spreadsheet and the columns are worked out for you.
Two things in that file are worth knowing before you cast anything.
- Charts sitting at exactly 12:00. The file carries no mark for an unknown birth time, so charts you entered without a time arrive as noon. Only you know which ones those are, and you can mark them time unknown once they are in.
- The same chart more than once. These exports often repeat charts. Arcus spots repeats inside the file as well as against your library, and leaves them out, so you import once and get one of each.
