Import a file into Arcus
- Click Open chart in the top bar.
- Click Import at the top of the Saved Charts window.
- Drop your file onto the window, or click Choose file. To paste an export instead of opening a file, click Paste chart text.
- A spreadsheet adds one step here. Arcus guesses which column is the name, the date, the time and the place, shows you the first few rows as it is reading them, and waits for you to confirm or correct the guess.
- Check the list that comes back. Charts already in your library are marked and left out, and so is any chart the file lists twice. Type a folder name if you want the new charts kept together.
- Click Import.
Several hundred charts take a few seconds. Arcus takes one file at a time, which is normally one trip, since a chart file holds the whole database. If your charts are split across several files, repeat the steps for each.
