Set the offset by hand
The line under the birth data shows the coordinates and the offset Arcus worked out. Click Adjust to open them both.
Write the offset the astrological way, west of Greenwich positive: +5:00 for New York, -1:00 for British Summer Time. An unsigned number is read as west.
Leave the field empty and the offset follows the place, which is how every chart starts. Once you have typed one, an Auto button appears beside it, which hands the chart back to the place and the date.
What you type wins over every table above, and it is saved with the chart, so every later reading of it matches the moment you cast.
